technologically evolving, the Secretariat supports
projects with the potential to boost local industries,
increase productivity, and drive economic growth.
Our role is to coordinate and facilitate research,
development, technology transfer, and commercialization
of innovations aimed at increasing productivity in key
areas of the national economy.
Focusing on Agricultural Mechanization
The goal is to increase output per square meter and per hour, through innovative
agricultural mechanization, value addition to produce, innovative inputs and
processes, and innovations that enhance the quality of life.
Facilitating Sustainable Productivity
New technologies and innovation of new products and processes
are at the heart of long-term productivity growth.
The Science-Led ProductivityAccelerator Tool

In partnership with AFRISA, Makerere
University-COVAB, the Secretariat supported
the production of this tool to fast-track Parish
Development Model.

Production ofMosquito Repellent Lotions

The Secretariat has supported the production
of mosquito repellent lotions from
ethnomedicinal plants and shea butter, a
project in partnership with Gudie Leisure Farm
in Wakiso District.
